Dr. Christopher Gregoire, a Scarborough, Maine native, is dedicated to providing high-quality orthodontic care in a welcoming and compassionate environment. With an extensive background in dentistry and orthodontics, Dr. Gregoire is committed to helping patients achieve healthier, straighter smiles.
Education and Training
Dr. Gregoire’s journey in dental and orthodontic care began with a strong educational foundation:
- Scarborough High School graduate
- Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dickinson College
- Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating near the top of his class
- Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA
- Extensive training in implant dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics
Military Service
After dental school, Dr. Gregoire served his country as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy. During his four years as an active-duty Navy dentist, Dr. Gregoire gained invaluable experience:
- Served onboard both an amphibious warship and an aircraft carrier
- Treated a wide range of dental conditions and refined his skills in various specialties
Specialized Education in Orthodontics
After his military service and three years in private practice, Dr. Gregoire chose to specialize in orthodontics. At Seton Hill University, he completed:
- Master of Science in Orthodontics
- Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
- Master of Business Administration, with a focus in Healthcare Administration
A Commitment to Family and Community
Dr. Gregoire and his wife Erin, along with their three children and two rescue dogs, are thrilled to be back in Maine. Outside the office, Dr. Gregoire enjoys:
- Spending quality time with his family
- Engaging in hobbies like golfing, woodworking, traveling, and playing musical instruments
- Actively contributing to the community in meaningful ways
